Chrysanthemum lace is a braid lace it uses the divided braid and pivoting techniques used in Brugge flower combined with a decorate braid. The braids are either half stitch, cloth stitch or the fishes braid, nothing else.

The pattern for this bookmark is in CHRYSANTHEMUM LACE by Cathleen Belleville. Edition 4 of the book was has been printed by the Lace Museum in Sunnyvale, but is now out of stock with them too



The first two patterns above are from KLEINE SCHUCKSUCKE IN CHRYSANTHE-TECHNIK by Hildegard Glos. The heart is adapted from a pattern in the same book.
